Let's Talk About Crushes

So basically boys are everywhere, from classrooms, to stores, and even to your favorite ice cream parlor. They're inescapable, but I'm here to talk about types of crushes and boys in general.

What It's Like

Crushes, ahh yes crushes. Aren't those always interesting? From Spark crushes to Longterm crushes there's always a story there. Realizing that you actually have a crush is always the "fun" part. You'll realize how cute he's suddenly become, or how nice is actually is. Either way, your heart starts beating, your mouth starts drooling and it seems like the world has slowed down. Yep, that means your hormones are all over the place and it's about to get messy. So there are obviously a bunch of different crushes , but I'm going to narrow it down to five of the most common ones that I've either experienced or witnessed.

5 Most Common Types of Crushes

1. "Spark" Crush

A crush that normally doesn't last that long and is gone within a few days or a week. That's why I call it a "Spark" crush because one minute it's there and the next it's not.

2. "Looks" Crush

This one may seem a bit shallow, but face it we've all had one. This crush is solely based on the looks of this guy. These crushes tend to not last long.

3. "Bestie" Crush

This one is really just what is sounds like, your crush is your best friend. Normally, these are also a mix of the "Longterm" crushes.

4. "Mumble" Crush

This is a really hardcore crush to the point that you can't even talk to him. you just mumble or freeze up. This is one of the most serious crushes. These normally aren't "Spark" crushes, but they're not "Longterm" either.

5. "Longterm" Crush

A crush that you've had literally FOREVER! Like, you've known this guy for about 3+ years and you've been crushing all this time.

Boys and Your Heart

Boys will be boys, immature for the most part, but there are some guys out there that are actually genuine and sweet. Just know that your heart is important and it can't defend itself, it needs you to protect it and guide it in the right direction toward the right person.
